1800Ewaste can ensure your personal information remains confidential as we destroy all hard drives. We only recycle- we do not resell or refurbish any electrical equipment we collect and we can provide a certificate of destruction upon recycling your hard drive.

If I recycle my computer will the data on the hard drive be properly erased? I’m just worried about someone finding out my personal information. Thanks for your help.

Hi Bill, Thanks for your enquiry, all plastics we collect are recycled - the process is complex but in essence they're sorted, shredded and then recycled. Hope that has answered your questions, please let us know if you have any others. Thanks

After dismantling and stripping of metals etc from computer, monitors, printers etc what options are available to handle the plastics apart from landfill. I understand that the plastics can be recycled but how to get them into bales, containers etc.

Hi Bill, our service is only for collection and delivery to recycling facilities. Perhaps you could try your local council, some have ewaste drop-off days once a month.
